For the past ten years, I've taught  at  William Claude Reavis Math /Science Specialty School in Chicago.  Reavis School emphasizes math, science/technology  with  an  African  American influence.  

 

 

ABOUT   ME

I' ve taught in the Chicago Public Schools for 24 years.   I love clothes-painting,  writing  poetry, stories, and screenplays.   Reading and social studies are my  favorite teaching subjects.  Art is my passion and technology is my new dilemma.

After career excursions to New York City, Washington D.C., and Miami  FLA, I still find Chicago to be my best home.  From multicultural neighborhoods, museums, galleries, theaters, playhouses to BLUES and all that JAZZ,  Chicago IS my kind of town.

ANCIENT AFRICAN HERITAGE STUDY TOUR
 
Last summer, I had the great pleasure of  taking an extraordinary tour of ancient  Egypt with Dr. Asa Hilliard on his 17th study tour of  Kemet.  It was a tour filled with museums, temples, climbs to tombs, shopping bazaars, and fact- filled lectures.  The hotels were five-star and security was abundant throughout Egypt.   Click the link for Kemet on the pyramid below to see pictures and information from the study tour.
