"I was born in Mexico City, in November 30, 1987. I lived in Mexico until I was 4 years old. I moved to Chicago because my parents they needed to study and work. Almost all of my relatives live in Mexico.
"When I was three years old I graduated from pre-school. I learned to salute my flag and its anthem. And notice my country's culture.
"When I came to Chicago, I had to learn English so I went to school. I had to respect the American flag and learn its culture. For me it was difficult to learn English, but with the help from my parents I am in the way success.
In late November snow begins to fall. This was the time when my Grandma came from Mexico City. It was a great time because it was fun playing with my grandmother. She came Chicago so she could help my mom with Gabriela (little sister).
"My religion is Catholic. Three years ago I went to make my first communion (responsibility of a Catholic) in Mexico. My family and I had a huge party after the communion.
"This picture was taken during photography class. In "Walt Disney Magnet School" (my school) on 1998. This happen when I was in fifth grade. Right now I am in sixth grade.
Usually we celebrate birthdays, holidays, and parties with my family and relatives. When we have a huge birthday party we have banners, ballons, and stringers. When its Halloween (day of the dead) we make ghosts and make customes.
Inside my family are: Rodrigo (me), Laura (my mother), Gabriel (my father), Gabriela (my little sister), and Celeste (my littlest sister). Love my family."
