This is special lesson because there are just too many things you can do with effects to even begin to cover it. Plus, if I gave away all my secrets, I'de put myself out a job facilitating this course. So....we will go over this IN CLASS. The following images are examples of what you will learn how to do.

The following image was created using Paint Shop Pro exclusively. First I created the background by freehend masking a sunset from a royalty free photo Kodak CD-ROM into a picture with a forest, softened the edges and reduced the colors to 256 to produce the unphotorealistic look. Then I zoomed in a spent approximately 5 hours hand painted with a airbrush the details in the trees and the blue fog throughout the foothills. Next, I found 3 mountain range photos and my 3 favorite animals and selected them out of their photos with the magic wand and copied them into the mountain ranges. Then I selected out the skies in the landcape shots with the animals added at 50% transparency and applied the circular deformation effect. The next stage included coping the resampled and repositioned animal/mountain spheres into the photo rendered background. Lastly, I used the photo retouching tool set to soften and cleaned up the edges of the spheres and added my signature. Note...during the project I must of hit undo some 200-300 times. I takes a long time to master these tools, even after using them for 5 years.
