In this lesson I will go over the basic skills of copying and pasting.

Why copy and paste? This function allows you to copy a selected area from one image to another. Say you wanted to place a banner you made into a picture. Let's go ahead and do this. I will supply the images and walk you through the process. The additional topics we will cover in this lesson include a "print screen", resampling, object deformation tool, shape selection tool, antialiasing, feathering, and the magic wand. All of which we have skimmed over in Lesson 7. If you are using this page on your own, please refer to the link list at the bottom of this page for support in these areas.

The following list of links will take you to resources that show you how to manipulate and fine tune selections. Additionally, you can find more information about the basics from the menus on these sites. These resources may be more valuable than what I can provide you with, so don't hesitate to check them out.

Note: This list of links, if your in the JAVA enabled version of this site, will bring up the new page in the upper frame. These are not my sites. Please give credit to them.
