This site was created as a module for the 1998 Advanced WWW Seminar at the University of Chicago
by Aaron Carper and John Lyman.
We apologize to those of you viewing this site at 640x480 or 1024x768 resolution. This site was specifically designed for 800x600 resolution and is Netscape Enhanced. If you are using IE (any version) the opening screen will not scroll automatically (providing you entered with java enabled)...producing the drill effect with the front page background. Incidentally, some Macintosh computers will not read the bottom frame applet that enables the site index, which renders this unnavigable with JAVA enabled.
This page has been created as the first of several web graphics courses for
West Chicago
Community High School District 94. Distrcit 94 is equipped with several computer labs (Dual Platforms)
and this summer workshop will be held in a pentium lab using Paint Shop Pro 5.0, Netscape Communicator,
and monitors set at 800x600 resolution and high color (16 bit). These conditions are recommended for optimal
viewing and use of this course.
