OBJECTIVE:
You are to prepare and key in your title page.
What is the TITLE PAGE?
The TITLE PAGE is the cover sheet for your paper.
GUIDELINE FOR PREPARING THE TITLE PAGE:
The Title Page
- Leave a 3 1/2 inch top margin.
- Center, type, capitalize the first letter of each important word
and underline the title of your paper.
- Quadruple space CENTER and key in the category of your paper. Capitalize
only the first letter.
- Return for 1 1/2" and key in LEFT ALIGNED a horizontal line 2 1/2 inches.
- Underneath the line key in the name of your sponsoring teacher. Capitalize the first letter of each main word.
- Return for another 1 1/2" and key in LEFT ALIGNED another line the same size.
- Return and key in the name of the School Coordinator. Capitalize the first letter of each main word.
- Return for 1 1/2" and RIGHT align your name, return and RIGHT align your school name, return and RIGHT align the school address, return and RIGHT align the school city and state, return and RIGHT align your grade preceded by the word "grade."
