OBJECTIVE:

What is the table of contents?

The TABLE OF CONTENTS is a list of topics or materials contained in your paper with their corresponding page number.

GUIDELINE FOR PREPARING THE TABLE OF CONTENTS:

Table of Contents
• Use the same margins as used for the rest of the paper.
• The title of your paper (or a running head) with your last name underneath must appear at the top right of all pages beginning with the table of contents. This should appear approximately 1/2" from the top of the page.
• The title, Table of Content, should appear an inch below your name and CENTERED.
• The paper component is left aligned and the number is right aligned.
