The FINAL PAPER is a well edited, revised final presentation of your work. It includes, in order:
Abstract
Safety Sheet (if necessary--check with teacher)
Title Page
Table of Contents
Acknowledgments
Purpose and Hypothesis
Review of Literature
Materials and Methods of Procedures
Results
Conclusions
GUIDELINE FOR PREPARING THE FINAL PAPER:
Include attractive drawings, charts, graphs, and other items that are relevant to your project.
Label all drawings, charts, graphs, etc.
Typed, double spaced, and only on one side of the paper.
Left margin must be maintained at 1 1/2" on each page.
A margin of 1" on the right, top, and bottom of each page.
The pages are numbered.
The pages have different levels of headings within the body.
The title of your paper (or a running head) with your last name underneath must appear at the top right of all pages beginning with
the table of contents. This should appear approximately 1/2" from the top of the page.
You will need to check with your science teacher about any other forms, such as the Safety Sheet, which might be required for your project.
