You are to prepare your EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN.
What is the EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN?
The EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN is a step by step process used to test your hypothesis.
GUIDELINE FOR PREPARING THE EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN:
- You will need to work with your science teachers as to the expectations for this part of your project.Experimental Design
- Estimate how many weeks it will take to complete your experiment and trials.
- Consider and discuss with your science teacher the possible safety issues. Build safety into the process.
- Know the definitions of control, independent and dependent variable and how they are used in the design of your experiment.
- State how you plan to gather data from your experimentation. This is the critical point on which the credibility of the design rests.
- Decide on the form (charts, tables, etc.) you plan to use to report your data.
- State the number of trials you plan to make.
