UIC College Trip - UIC Flames

What are some age appropriate ways for students to learn about a college campus? Bringing students on campus for events such as the UIC Flames basketball game is a great way for students and parents to become familiar with the campus.  They get to see the campus as a community where all sorts of events take place.

Early college trips get parents and students familiar and comfortable in an environment that they are often not used to.  At lunch and during the bus tour of the campus, families were able to talk to college students who were mentors for the day.
