Help your students develop number sense, algebraic thinking skills and geometry concepts using manipulatives such as color tiles, pattern blocks, tangrams, pentominoes and geoboards.  Have students problem solve, show their work and explain their thinking.  Ask students to write reflections and justify thinking in writing for assessment purposes.
