Kate Thomas and matt Dealy will use the structure of an arts immersion to crack open the text City of Ember. Theater techniques will be used to examine some of the scientific content of the text. Participants will walk away from this workshop with a better understanding of how to integrate arts into the curriculum and how to assess the arts according to the Illinois State Standards.
