Using Among the Hidden in the classroom will introduce to students topics that are not commonly discussed or thought about. The book’s themes will make students see some societies in a different perspective or even introduce new societies. The content will improve student’s critical thinking, and increase their vocabulary. Lastly, with the book being the first in a series of four, students will be inspired to read more so that they may follow the lead character’s life.
