Lesson plans are the first things that teachers want to find on the Internet.  There are hundreds of sites.  Here are a few.


The CPS Instructional Intranet

rich source which is getting richer all the time.  It has lots to offer, including lesson plans, standards and training sites.

Lessons from WIT (http://cuip.uchicago.edu/wit/projectdatabase.htm)   During CUIP's summer Web Institute for Teachers, many exellent lesson plans have been developed which are now available to others.  Take a look at those on History of Photography, Colors and Simple Machines.

EDSITEment (http://edsitement.neh.gov/) The the National Endowment for the Humanities lists excellent lesson plans for humanities and social science areas.

Good Plans, well organized and useful.

GEM: Gateway to Educational Materials  (http://www.thegateway.org/) A huge, well-annotated and searchable index to lesson plans and other curriculum materials on the web.  This is the best thing of its kind.
