Using FTP on a Macintosh

Fetch
is a popular ftp software program for the Macintosh.  As such, the ftp instructions for the Macintosh will assume that Fetch will be used.  Fetch is free for educators, and for users affiliated with charitable non-profit organizations; all other users may purchase a license to download a copy.  For more information about Fetch, visit the fetch site at Dartmouth University (where it was developed).
