Inserting Images and Audio into a Web Page Inserting Images Graphics can be easily inserted into a web page using Composer. They can either be inserted directly from a site, or saved first onto the desktop or to a floppy disk. It is a good idea to save an image to the desktop or floppy disk in case there are some problems with the web page. Saving images to the desktop or floppy is the same as saving any other file to these locations such as a Word document for example. To save an image to your desktop or floppy disk, right click on the image you have chosen and select Save As from the menu. This will allow you to select the location where you would like to save your image to retrieve it for your web page. To insert the image either directly from the Web or from a floppy or
the desktop, click on the Insert Menu and select Image from
the menu. Once the Image window has been opened either enter a URL if
the image is being saved directly from the Web or select Choose File
and select the location in which the graphic has been saved. 2. More information and tutorials for inserting and saving images |
