Beta Homeroom
Tuesday, July 11

Only 9 days left to complete your modules!

1:00-2:30 Creating Activities

In pairs (split your groups in half!), go through the homeroom module: Creating Activites for the Web

2:30-2:45 Site of the Day

Overview of the Great Linksdiscussion forum.
Assignment for tomorrow: each Beta participant should post one great educational web site that they have found during their web searching.

2:45-3:00 Break

3:00-5:00 Group Work

The goal is to finish up what you were working on yesterday. By the end of the day, each group should have completed the following:
  • Finish the curriculum guide for your module
  • Decide on a metaphor or "look" for your module
  • Organize your module: what information belongs together; what pages will be linked together
  • Decide on a navigation scheme for your module -- where will the navigation elements go on each page
  • Divide the work among the team members

Christie will be available from 2:30-4:00 to help with linking to Digital Workshop content.
