Reminder

PRODUCTS expected of WIT BASIC participants:

  • personal web page
  • list of 10 urls relevant to participant's teaching on personal page
  • web-based lesson (including lesson plan)

Feel like you are almost finished?  Check this checklist!

  • Check every page for spelling errors, grammar, etc.
  • Look at the aesthetics of your page...line spacing, alignment, etc.
  • Click on every link to make sure it links properly
  • Review your teaching guide for completion and clarity
  • Make sure you have at least 10 links on personal home page
  • Take some time to look for additional resources or activities (ask yourself:  "how can I make this lesson better?")
  • Make sure all graphics load
  • Take a look at the personal and web lesson pages created by other WIT participants
  • Take this time to review some of the wonderful modules
  • Keep in mind, your lesson may never be "completely" finished and you may continually add to it throughout the school year
  • Make sure you have an e-mail link on your personal home page and web lesson page so others can contact you (remember, to create an e-mail link highlight the text, press link and put in "mailto:youremailaddress" with no spaces and no quotations)
  • Consider adding a "page last updated" date on the bottom of each page in a smaller font
Any questions not answered in class can be directed to Bill and Russ.
