Content/Information
Difficulty Levels 1 and 2 are each broken down into sections:  Solar System, Universe, Space Stuff, and Glossary.  Each section has general information, followed by links to more specific information (for instance, the Solar System page has a link to the Planets, which has links to each individual planet).  Every vocabulary word within text is linked to a glossary.  Each section has activities, plus interactive quizzes and fun facts.

Pictures
Many illustrations, some photos, for each topic and subtopic of the different sections.  There are also some movies.

Classroom Activities
Activities for each section, and for each difficulty level.  Puzzles, songs, interactive quizzes, problem-solving.  Activity pages are intended for online use, but include a feature that allows you to print a special version of the activities (no computer required) for your classroom.

Ease of Use
Easy navigation.  Glossary, internal search engine, links to unfamiliar vocabulary words.  Two levels of difficulty (Level 1 and Level 2) depending on grade level.  A printable version of all pages is available (including the glossary).  Links make it easy to return to main page.  Navigation accessible to students and teachers.  Download time minimal.

Technology Needed/Recommended
No special software required, although you may not be able to access some things (like recordings of songs or movies) without certain plug-ins.  Audio and video players a plus.  CGI and JavaScript capabilities helpful.  An advanced browser (newer version of Netscape or Internet Explorer) would be best to view and use this site most effectively.
