| Madrid has many great places to visit. The Museo delPrado is famous around the world for showing important works of notable Spanish artists such as El Greco, Goya, and many others. Two other important museums that are worth visiting are the Museo NacionalCentro de Arte Reina Sofia and the Thyssen BornemiszaMuseum. |

| Madrid is also famous for an exciting event called corrida de toros, or bullfighting. Toreros, or bullfighters dressed in elaborate gold costumes, are enclosed in a ringlike stadium whose main purpose is to survive a battle with an angry bull. Bullfights in Madrid take place in LasVentas bullring. Bullfighting season usually takes place between the months of March thru October. |

In addition to the zoo's extensive collection of animals that are in danger of extinction, visitors may also watch the dolphin show and get acquainted with a wide array of ocean life from all over the world. |
