Note: You can type in the location for a link, but it is not recommended because it leads to frequent typos and links that don't work. The following steps are for the "cut and paste" location method.
1. Go to or open the page you
want to make a link "to" in Netscape Navigator.
2. Copy the url by inserting
your cursor at the beginning of the address and highlighting it.
(Make sure you get it all!) With url
highlighted, go to edit/copy.
3. Go to or open the page that
you want to link "from" (the page that will have
the link).
4. Highlight the text that will
be your link (after the link is established the text will be blue and
underlined)
5. Go to insert/link or the insert
link icon (looks like a chain link). This will open a dialogue box.
6. In the dialogue box, paste the url
of your link by doing the following
