What You'll Learn in this Section

I kind of lied to you earlier when I said that
I had corralled all of the images you would need. There's one last
image that you have to insert: the background image of the notebook
paper.

Finding and Saving a Background Image to Your
Computer
|
||
| 1. First you have to go get the image from another site. Saving a background image is very similar to saving other images. First things first. Go to the sample classroom web site by clicking here. The page should open up into a new window. Come back to this page after the sample classroom page has opened. |

2. The next step is very similar to saving an image from the Internet, but it is different depending on which type of machine you're using. |
||
|
PC Users: Point to the notebook paper,
then right-click. A pop-up window should appear.
|
||
|
Mac Users: Point to the paper, then click
and hold down the mouse button. (Or, hold down the Control button
while you click.) After awhile a pop-up window should appear
|
||
| 3. On the pop-up window, select "Save Background As..." | ||

| 4. Select the image named "notebookpaper." | ||

5. Click "OK." Your page should now be adorned with a background image of notebook paper. | |

You also probably noticed that the background
color you selected earlier is no longer. That's just the way the
cookie crumbles. You can't have your cake and eat it too. (Insert
additional cliches). You have to decide whether you want to use
a specific background color or a specific background image, but
you cannot have both. Too bad; so sad.
