Saving Files

Files and Folders

!!Save your file often! Very Often! Regularly!!

Save it to where you want it to stay. If your computer quits, you still have your file if you saved it. If you want to take the file with you, save to a floppy disk.

If you don't save the file, it will be gone when the computer shuts down.

Note: The first time you save a file, you get the Save As, window. In subsequent saves you open the "Save" window, and your file name should already be in the file name box.
