  Excellent  4  Average 3 Needs Improvement 2  Poor 1
Layout The WebQuest is laid out in sequential order and is easy for students to navigate The WebQuest is in sequential order, but students may have to scroll through a lot of text The layout is not well organized.  Students get confused as to where they have to go next No organization, students cannot follow
Design Design of site is friendly and inviting.  Not overwhelming when opened Design may have some bright colors or other features that are distracting, but still relevant Design is full of random and relevant features, and may distract the students from the task at hand Design is "loud" where it distracts students and they are more focused on the design and not the mission
Graphics Graphics are minimal and essential to the site.  There are not too many to slow the downloading of the page Graphics are relevant but may be excessive, slowing the page from loading Graphics are random, don't have much in common and take a long time to download No pattern to the graphics.  There are so many that the student becomes easily distracted
Grammer/Language Language is grade level appropriate and easy for students to follow Language may be grade level appropriate, with students needing some clarification Language is difficult for grade level.  Some errors found in site Language is written for any grade level and not grade specific, therefore making it difficult for some students.  Many misspelled words
