Evaluation Editor

Your job reviews the evaluation component of the WebQuest.  Does the evaluation make sense in terms of the task?  Is the evaluation one that asks for higher order thinking skills, and not just a "fill in the blanks" answer?  Could the students in your grade level complete the project listed in the evaluation?

Compatibility The evaluation matches the task.  The steps in the task make sense in terms of the evaluation The evaluation is related to the task component, with some form of the evaluation unrelated The evaluation is not measuring the goals in the task No evaluation methods
Higher order skills Higher order thinking skills are present in the evaluation Higher order thinking skills are used in some form of the evaluation The evaluation doesn't contain a project for the students to complete to show understanding of the task The evaluation is similar to a "fill in the blanks" paper, with no higher order thinking skills
Project The project is creative and gets students interested.  In includes many components for students to apply knowledge, and involves cooperative learning The project involves cooperative learning and is fun for the students The project can be completed individually and not requiring a great deal of thought No project
Creativity The WebQuest evaluation is creative in nature, possibly putting the student in the role of someone else. The evaluation project allows students to assume knew roles, and is exciting for the student The project is not creative.  It may call for a student to write a report  No evaluation project.  Students fill in a worksheet
