WebQuest Job

Time on Task Tutor

Your job reviews the efficiency of the WebQuest you are evaluating.  Are the instructions direct and clearly written?  Does the WebQuest waste time with a lot of useless information?  Do the process and the task components match?

  Excellent  4  Average 3 Needs Improvement 2  Poor 1
Instructions Easy to understand, clearly stated so students could follow Easy to understand, but need to read further to understand.  Might need further explanation Instructions are not clear, students could become easily confused No clear instructions for students to follow
Information Information directly relates to the task and does not ramble on Some miscellaneous information, might throw students off Information not easily organized, students cannot tell what is relevant or irrelevant Random pieces of information, containing no structure for students to follow
Compatibility Task and process match, so students clearly understand what is expected of them Task and process are very similar.  Students can follow each and still be successful Task and process are not clearly compatible.  Students follow process to complete quest, not task Task and process do not match or make sense
