**Reminder: The screen shots you see below are from Netscape version 7.0

Take a few minutes to become familiar with the toolbar, as you will see it every time you are in Composer. After you have done so, proceed to the screen shots of each of the menus that are featured on the toolbar.


Toolbar Menus

Now that you have looked over the toolbar, it is time to see all the options available under each menu.

File:

The File menu provides all of the important functions related to Composer, including opening new files, saving and publishing your pages

Edit:

Using the edit menu allows you to make corrections to your Composer pages, as well as check your spelling

View:

The view menu lets you decide what your toolbar shows. It also allows you access to your page's HTML source

Insert:

The insert menu comes in handy when you want to add something specific to your page

Format:

The format menu houses all options available to manipulating your text, as well as your page colors and backgrounds. You can use this menu to give your page a title, also

Table:

Any issues you have regarding tables is found under the table menu

Tools:

The tools menu doesn't specifically relate to operating Composer, but gives you quick access to some of Netscape's other features

Window:

Like the tools menu, the window menu gives you quick access to various features provided with Netscape 7.0

Help:

When you need help, don't be shy! Netscape provides an extensive array of support
