Where is the Recycle Bin on a Mac? |

Where is the Recycle Bin on a Mac?On Windows PCs one way to delete a file is to move it to the Recycle Bin. On the Mac this is called the Trash and it works the same way as the Recycle Bin on Windows. (Actually, to be chronologically correct, Windows works the same way as the Mac!) Activity 1: Deleting a file Using the Mouse
Here is what the Trash icon on the Macintosh looks like.
You can "undelete" a document in the trash by double-clicking
on the trash can icon, and choosing the relevant file, and pulling down
the Put Away menu item. The file will return to its original location.
Like Windows, undeleted documents remain in the Recycle Bin (called "Trash"
on the Mac) |
