BIRTHDAYS

Birthdays are very special days to celebrate at school.  This year, on your child's birthday, s/he will carry the globe around the sun, representing the passing of each year of his/her life.  As s/he journeys around the sun, we talk about special events from that year in the child's life.

Treats are not a required part of this celebration.  However, if you do wish to send something to school, please include paper plates, cups, napkins, and whatever else is needed to serve your choice.  We suggest fruit, raw vegetables and dip, popcorn, pretzels, or cheese and crackers.
