from Norah O'Donnell: Teachers from CUIP or eCUIP schools are exempt
from WIT tuition. They should ignore any bills coming from the University
of Chicago charging them tuition. Teachers who paid the $100 deposit
only owe $900 even though their bill might say $1000. If you have
any questions, ask Norah O'Donnell.

Basics (if necessary). Some participants may need to spend more
time in this site, while others may wish to move ahead.

Netscape Composer as a means in making web pages. We have introduced
some of the basics of Netscape Composer. Now review this self-tutorial
at your own pace (or move to the following).
(7) Make a personal home page
(or at least start with a personal profile). For example,
Welcome to [your name] Home Page!
Write about you.
Write about your school.
Write about your teaching experience.
Write about your students.
Post your favorite links.

you want to use, take the mouse and hold on the graphic until a menu opens.
Choose SAVE THIS IMAGE AS... And, remember to save the image to the
DESKTOP (it will be easier to find later!).
(9) Publish the file!
Go to the File menu, then Publish. Complete the information
below (use lowercase letters for your username).
IMPORTANT:
All information above must be entered in lowercase letters. We have
placed the words USERNAME and FILENAME in capitals only to highlight them.
You need to place YOUR USERNAME in the spaces above; also, you need to
NAME EACH FILE you publish. Be sure to use one word for your file
name (no spaces) with .htm placed at the end.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU PUBLISH A WEB PAGE. BE SURE YOU HAVE THE
FILE NAME CORRECT ANY TIME YOU PUBLISH (OR UPLOAD) A FILE TO THE SERVER.
