Businessperson:

    Choose an international company (Coca-Cola,MacDonald's) that sells products and services in the selected country.  Using the Web sites provided for activity find the following:

                       a) a list of products/services the company sells

            b) examples of ways the company adapted to that country's
                society and culture.
            c) kind of customer attracted to the product/service
           d) local government trade barriers or investment restrictions
                       e) labor costs and labor laws
                       f) types of jobs the company offers
                       g) political stability of the government
                       h) compare 2 cultural aspects with 2 related economic issues
                       i) find 2 articles that show a relationship between cultural
                           behaviors and economic issues.

Tourist:

                  a) select different ways to get to your destination (air,sea,land)
                       b) find the name of a national airline
                       c) give recommendations on necessary clothing, considering climate
                       d) find the main monetary unit and equivalent in US dollars
                      e) plan an itinerary including 3  or 4 different places you will visit
                       f) investigate what local attractions are in each place
                       g) find the names of 3 dishes common to the region
                       h) make a list of souvenirs you would buy
                       i) list some activities you would not do
                            (gestures, mannerisms, expressions)
                       j) identify the social/recreational activities will locals favor
                              during their leisure time.
                      k) compare 2 cultural aspects with 2 economic issues
                              i) find 2 articles that relate cultural patterns to economic issues.

Visionary:
              while doing a virtual visit to the selected country, find the following:

             a) class system (education,occupation,heritage,income
             b) living conditions (housing, pollution,communication)
             c) cost of living (food, housing, medical care, transportation)
             d) satisfying needs and wants (self-sufficient,marketing system)
             e) environment (rural/agrarian-urban/industrial)
             f) economic situation (trade restrictions, borrowing, spending
             g) political situation (stable government, social disorder, rich vs. poor,
                            (political party changes)
                          h) compare  2 cultural aspects with 2 economic issues

                          i) find 2 articles that compare or relate cultural behavior patterns to
                       economic issues .
