CULTURECONOMICS
The purpose of this module is to enhance student awareness of cultural, economic, and political differences among different countries. Students will become acquainted with search strategies using WEB SITES and links. This module should also refine students analytical skills.
The students enrolled in the International Business classes need a more realistic approach to the cultural, political, economic, and geographic factors that affect international business. This module will provide students with more incentives for cultural awareness and sensibility, and it will provide an insight regarding the changes affecting the United States' role in the global economy.
The students enrolled in Culture and Conversation--Spanish V will analyze real time events in spanish-speaking countries-culture with a small c-comparing and contrasting the influence of these findings on the economic conditions of the Hispanic World.
The INTERNET provides with a wealth of resources for students and teachers and this module will link to numerous sites.
Teachers may use this WEB SITE as a springboard
to integrate curriculum. Possible units could be on Literature, Language,
Historical events, Environmental Issues, etc.
