You may want to vary the lessons from day to day according to your classroom.  If students finish assignments on any given day they may visit web sites to solve Tangram puzzles.
 

Day 1

• Give students pre-exam questionnaire.
• Introduce and discuss geometry, tangrams, and vocabulary terms that will be covered in this curriculum.
• Give internet quiz.

• Complete Math Vocabulary Word Search.
• Study Math Vocabulary Words and Definitions

Day 2

• Collect and discuss homework.  (Which word was the most difficult to find?)
• Discuss and review internet quiz.
• Let students view web sites for angles, similar figures and triangles.

• Use an overhead projector and a protractor to illustrate how various angles are made.
• Illustrate by making the following angles an acute, right, obtuse, complementary and supplementary.
• Students will construct the following angles by degrees 37, 90, 123, 25 and 65, and 78 and 102.

• Students will make tangrams using the web site.
• Refer to day three and have students measure the angles on the tangram sets they created.
• Combine angles to create complementary and supplementary angles.

• Students select 20 of the 32 vocabulary words and create a word search and an answer key.

• Students select 20 of the 32 vocabulary words and create a crossword puzzle and an answer key.

• Solve tangram puzzles from the internet.
• Create tangram puzzles for students to solve.

• Use Bloom's Taxonomy to create problem solving questions.  I have created some sample questions for you to view.
• Complete Angles Quiz.

• Complete Math Vocabulary Crossword Puzzle.
• Complete Math Vocabulary Spelling Test.

• Complete Math Vocabulary Crossword Puzzle.
