Professional Experience

As a teacher in the Chicago Public Schools since 1975, I have taught a variety of courses, including basic business and computer courses.  I have had the opportunity to teach students from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.  My schools include Simeon Career Academy (formerly Simeon Vocational High School, Steinmetz High School, Von Steuben High School, King High School, and Parkside Community Academy.  In addition, I have been instrumental in a number of computer-related projects in the school and community.  I was active on many school committees and served as the Grade Coordinator and the computer club sponsor for several years.

I am presently an adjunct professor in the masters program in Computer Education at National-Louis University in Chicago.  In the fall, I plan to teach a distance education class at Chicago State University on integrating technology in the curriculum.
