Mable McMiller

Mable McMiller, a science resource teacher and also the Technology Coordinator for William Claude Reavis Math/Science Specialty School.   Mable teaches science for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade students.  She also teaches Integrated Science for a sixth grade class who she team teach with a six grade teacher Mrs. Renee Stein, and a pre-engineering course that focus on aeronautics for gifted students in 4th-7th grade.

Ms. McMiller is a member of the Local School Council and goes after seeking grants for her school.  She is very concern about science being as equally as important as  math and reading.  Mable is in the process of writing a grant for seed money to pursue a new annex for the overcrowded facility.  What she is trying to do is make science a priority-equivalent to math and reading.
