Aim

The aim of this lesson is to provide teachers with a working knowledge of incorporating graphics,
video, and multimedia into their Web pages.

Rationale:

The World Wide Web changed the face of the Internet by adding visual interest through
graphical images, sound, and video.  As the Internet continues to evolve, users will begin
to demand more from Web sites than the current offering of colorful graphics,  animated
gifs, and occasional sound/music.  Interactivity will become the standard of Web pages in
the future and those sites which engage the visitor will be more accepted than those that offer
    only a mono-e-mono user environment.

Multimedia will bring the world of animation, real-time video, motion, and digital quality sound
the desktops of teachers and their students and this will be the foundation on which true
interactive Web sites will be based.  Multimedia opens up a dynamic world of visual stimulation
that ignites the imagination, lends itself toward increased creativity, and makes the Web a fun
exciting, and interesting place to be.  Teachers can incorporate simple multimedia into classroom,
school, or personal Web pages with realitive ease that will make their sites stand out from the
    crowd.

Objectives:

At the end of this module, participants will:
