VIETNAM WAR
During the 60s there were two schools of thought on U.S.
involvement in the Vietnam War; some felt the U.S. should be involved in
order to stop the spread of Communism, and some felt that the U.S. should
not interfere with the internal matters in East Asia.

War demonstrations and protests. Answer the Comprehension Questions
at the end of the article (1-4).

You are a reporter for TV station MLA. Video
tape an interview with family
members who were in the military or who demonstrated against the war during
the sixties. Prepare an introduction and closing commentary.
