I am employed by North Palos School District 117 as a Technology Instructional Coordinator. As a Technology Coordinator I attend monthly meetings with other Technology Coordinators from neighboring school districts at the South Cook Intermediate Service Center in conjunction with the Cook County Regional Board of Education.
I attended high school at Rolling Meadows High School in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. After high school I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. After college, I worked in sales for Colombo, Incorporated and Helene Curtis. In 1992, I returned to school to complete a Master of Arts in Teaching, Elementary Education, and a certificate in Instructional Technology from
Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey.
I have continued to take courses related to education and technology. I have taken courses from Argonne National Laboratories. I am currently participating in a fellowship in The World Wide Web for teachers at the University of Chicago. In August, I will be participating in teaching a course at Govenor's State University in conjunction with AT&T.
