Why Bother?
Knowledge of mythology is required for 6th graders (see
both Illinois State Goals and Chicago Board of Education Goals).
What should you hope to achieve?
Students will acquire a working knowledge of the major
gods and goddesses of three different ancient cultures.
Students will discover that certain types of gods and
goddesses are represented in many different ancient cultures.
