This web-based instructional module is the product of the World Wide Web for Teachers seminar at the University of Chicago. Each summer the university offers several seminars for teachers in the Chicago Public School system and the Chicago metro area through its Graham School for General Studies.
The team members' decision to focus
on Fibonacci numbers was based on their diverse subjects, specifically,
math, art, and science, and their common interest in interdisciplinary
studies.
