Objectives:
 

• Students will be able to communicate with one another and with other students, educators, and authorities in a variety of ways including oral, written, visual and electronic.
• Students will be able to use working definitions of the vocabulary which relates to the study.
• Students will be able to identify at least four basic questions which are unanswerable by empirical means.
• Students will acquire a working knowledge of the major characters and events of classical mythology.
• Students will be able to discern, from written sources and artifacts of mythology, the values of the culture which developed the belief system.
• Students will be able to articulate the functions of myth in society.
• Students will be able to classify myths in a variety of ways.
