Students will be able to communicate
with one another and with other students, educators, and authorities in
a variety of ways including oral, written, visual and electronic.
Students will be able to use working
definitions of the vocabulary which relates to the study.
Students will be able to identify at
least four basic questions which are unanswerable except by myth.
Students will acquire a working knowledge
of the major characters and events of classical mythology.
Students will be able to discern, from
written sources and artifacts of mythology, the values of the culture which
developed the belief system.
Students will be able to articulate
the functions of myth in society.
Students will be able to classify myths
in a variety of ways.
