Students in World Language classes take four years of a foreign language and three years of business and technology courses.  World Language courses (presently offered in Spanish and French) consistently incorporates the 5 C's within the curriculum while incorporating technology to aid student comprehension.

This web site will enable students to learn about the job market in another culture.  Through a series of activities students will  practice their listening, speaking, reading, writing and cultural skills in a relevant and contextualized format.  These activities follow national, state and Chicago Public School standards.

The Chicago Public Schools | University of Chicago Internet Project (WIT, eCUIP) and a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) have made this  site possible.  This partnership and grant enables teachers to learn, develop and utilize technology within their disciplines.  It also enables teachers and students to work together in the learning process.
