Objectives: Students will
be able to recognize typical French want ads in various mediums (including
online), their structure, pertinent
vocabulary, abbreviations, etc. Students will put their original want ads
on web page.

recommendation in writing

Activity 4 French Introduction

Goals:
Goal 28 Use the target language to present information, concepts and ideas
for a variety of purposes to different audiences. 28.D.2a Write on
familiar topics using appropriate grammar, punctuation and capitalization.
Objectives: Students will be
able to write an introduction letter in French in response to a want ad,
using writing skills to describe self, skills, persuade and use
appropriate salutations and closings.

Vignettes for Video
Goals: 28B Interact in the target language in various
settings.28.B.2b Produce language using proper pronunciation, intonation
and inflection.
Objectives: Students will write, star and direct simulated video
interviews in
French using 5C's skills acquired. Editing and posting of video
clips to web page.
Materials needed: Digital video camera, computer, Front Page
software, video editing software features, microphones, job
