Thank you for your interest in Gospel Outreach Christian Elementary School.  We welcome your interest and look forward to meeting you and your son or daughter.  Due to the large amount of inquiries, we ask that you adhere to the following application process.

1. Review all materials in this information packet, which includes this letter, Statement of Faith, Application for enrollment, Academic Reference, Pastoral Reference and the Tuition Schedule.
2. Complete all forms in the application packet and obtain grades and standardized test scores for the previous 3 years, atg least, from your student’s current school.
3. Mail or drop off all completed forms, grades and standardized test scores back to us.
4. Request that your pastor and your student’s teacher MAIL the reference forms directly to the school as soon as possible.  Once all pertinent documentation is received, we will contact you promptly to schedule the application interview.

At that time we will discuss in depth the vision and goals for Christian Education held by the staff and parents of Gospel Outreach Christian School.  As an introduction, let me briefly summarize our vision.

Gospel Outreach Christian School began in 1981 with 18 students.  Our desire was to nourish our children in God’s Word, training them in His ways, while challenging them to fulfill every aspect of their God given potential.  The Lord has blessed us in so many ways since 1981.  It has been a joy to us that in 1988 we were able to extend to 12th grade.  Through the years our students have represented more than 100 Chicago area churches and 44 nationalities.  They come form families serving full time in Christian ministry to those who are newly born-again in God’s kingdom.  We are believing God for expansion and new facilities.  The heart and vision of this school is that more and more of God’s children might experience Christian Education.

Many challenges have faced us through the years, and many more are yet to come.  Our desire is that in each student’s life and with each challenge the Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified.  We want to see students equipped to face the complex world ahead:  with strong, personal commitments to serve and live for the Lord Jesus Christ; with thorough, strong, academic preparation; with increased personal and social responsibility; and with an accurate Christian world view.

Gospel Outreach Christian Schools belongs to Christian Schools International and the Association of Christian School International.  State recognition is in process.

Our staff are personally committed Christians who feel called to minister to young people.
