Introduction
Most books and web sites are not designed for beginning teachers to design
their own web pages on their own but this one will be designed for the
beginner
Aim
To guide teachers through the basics of designing a web page without human
help
Rationale most books and
web sites are not basic enough for beginners and this module will be designed
to fill that need
Goals and Objectives 1. teachers
will be able to design their own classroom web page 2. teachers will
be able to write a curriculum using the web 3. teachers will be able to
use search engines
Audience
teachers that need basic instruction in making and
using the web to design a classroom web site
Pre-reguisites
teachers should have basic knowledge of computers
Subject-Matter process involved
in web page design
Instructional Plan
1.teachers will learn useful terminology
2.teachers will read through the module and follow instructions from inserting
images and text, to creating tables and links, to handling space, to navigating
pages, to copying and pasting, to creating and saving files, to saving
on desk top or disk.3. teachers will be doing activities so that they can
design classroom web pages and the ability to teach their students how
to design one for their classroom
Materials
each
teacher should have a computer, internet access and a copy of the
module

various quizes designed to test knowledge of the material
