How does someone become a successful
writer? By writing all of the time and following the steps of the writing
process. If you wish to become such a writer, you've come to the
right place.
The writing process consists of
five steps. They are:
Prewriting
- Choosing a topic, filling out a graphic
organizer
Writing - Writing the story
Revising - Changing the story, if necessary
Editing - Checking spelling,
grammar, appearance
Publishing - Writing the story so that others may
read it
In this lesson you will follow the first step a writer uses in order to produce a narrative story. The links will take you through the process and by the end of the lesson you will have chosen a topic and filled out a graphic organizer.
