Library Rules



 

Students must remember the following:
 

            1.  Always be prepared with paper and pen/pencil.
            2.  Keep hands/feet to yourselves.
            3.  Food/drinks are not allowed in the library.
            4.  No gum chewing or candy eating in the library.
            5.  Respect yourself and others.
            6.  The librarian is here to teach not to discipline.
            7.  Profanity is never accepted nor is it allowed.
            8.  Other students have a right to learn with minimum disruptions.
 
 






 Consequences to breaking rules:
 

             First Time - Verbal Warning
             Second Time - Written Assignment
             Third Time - Student will be written up
             Fouth Time - Student, Teacher, Parent Conference
             Fifth Time - Student, Teacher, Parent, Principal Conference
 
 


 
 

Note:   Keep in mind that the Chicago Board of Education has implemented a Systemwide Uniform Discipline Policy.  This policy will be enforced and followed closely, when administering discipline to all students.
