We start the day with a morning greeting, "Good morning friend." This helps the children learn each other's names while building a classroom community. We have a terrific primary color collection and have fun describing the items and sorting them. It's fun to find primary colors in the classroom. Learning about bees is good preparation for our planned trip to the Apple Orchard. We need ten parents to come along. Cost for parents is $7.50, the same as the children. This fee includes, transportation, admission, lunch, hayride, snack and bag of you-pick apples. Please dress your child for inclimate weather. Layers of clothing would be best. Also, a cap and boots.
We All Have Hands
Hands, hands,
we all have hands.
Hands, hands,
we all have hands.
Hands, hands,
we all have hands.
Beautiful, wonderful hands.
Start collecting those leaves, the first project will begin October 5. We would
love to have any interesting leaves, twigs
for our collection. (Instructions
for leaf project will be sent next Friday).
Our classroom is a violence free zone. Please talk regularly with your child
about wrestling, to ensure that all our children are safe and sound.
