How much do you know about
   Puerto Rico and its people?

Aim:  6th or 7th grade students assisted by their partner will navigate through web sites.  They will view and find information in order to answer the questions on a worksheet.

Goal:  Students will learn to use the computer and to navigate through web sites cooperatively with a partner in order to increase their knowledge about Puerto Rico and its citizens.

Prerequisites:  An ability to read and a willingness to learn how to use a computer.  Students will gather data about Puerto Rico and its people.  A partner will assist his 6th or 7th grade partner in reading the directions, and gathering the data to answer the questions on the student handout.

Materials:
                *A computer connected to the internet.
                *A worksheet for the students to record their responses/answers.
               *A pencil.
